Primary Accountabilities: Work with the Education and Outreach Specialist to develop unique strategies/initiatives to engage your community to promote energy efficiency and drive demand for Efficiency Nova Scotia services; Identify energy saving opportunities in your community and provide solutions; Participate in the Community Ambassador network to share insights among ambassadors; Commit to connecting with your networks and communities to share knowledge of EfficiencyOne services; Maintain up to date knowledge of all Efficiency programs as well as interpret and explain them to the public; Become a source of information and a potential point of contact for our customers within your community; Be responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service. Toonies for Change Project Manager

Mentor a Veteran Entrepreneur

Description: Prince's Operation Entrepreneur, a program of Prince's Trust Canada, is looking for experienced entrepreneurs or business professionals, with or without military service, who are able to provide perspective, advice and encouragement for veteran entrepreneurs. Prospective mentors possess the soft skills and empathy needed to work at the mentees' pace and are willing to commit 2-4 hours per month to the program over six months. Daffodil Site Captain

Description: If you’re a naturally organized person and coordinating activities is one of your strengths, consider volunteering your skills as Site Captain for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil campaign! As Site Captain, you are responsible for the coordination of daffodil sales at a specific retail site the weekend of April 11-13, 2019. (and April 18-20 **site dependent**) You will: schedule volunteers for shifts (selling daffodils)set up and take down the table each day during the campaign weekend, handle & record the revenue from the flower sales, relay all information collected back to the Canadian Cancer Society in a timely manner, sort pre-sold flower orders and hand them out to customers using a list provided by staff (**site dependent**) Training Includes: Detailed role description Phone call or in person meeting with CCS Staff person. Daffodil Street Team Volunteer
