Opportunity Description:

The North Woodside Community Centre is a registered charitable organization which is constantly striving towards bringing a sense of community and involvement to the surrounding areas through our various programs, special events and activities. We are looking for like-minded individuals who possess a strong sense of community and wish to help work for a great cause. What we offer: An opportunity to exercise leadership skills by participating in the governance and strategic decision-making processes of the organization A platform to network with people who have the same passion for local community in a positive team oriented environment Candidates will: Bring a personal interest in community, events, and fundraising. Have some knowledge, skills, and/or experience in community-based services. Attend monthly Board meetings (September to June).
