Our Community Ambassadors are innovative leaders within their communities, they are capable of fostering creativity in others as well as being a catalyst for social change. Community Ambassadors are leaders that put people first, encourage involvement, are passionate and engaging storytellers and lead through personal connection by showing and ability to build strong, meaningful relationships. They also play an active role in supporting energy efficiency and conservation efforts and have a passion for continued learning and skill development. Primary Accountabilities: Work with the Education and Outreach Specialist to develop unique strategies/initiatives to engage your community to promote energy efficiency and drive demand for Efficiency Nova Scotia services; Identify energy saving opportunities in your community and provide solutions; Participate in the Community Ambassador network to share insights among ambassadors; Commit to connecting with your networks and communities to share knowledge of EfficiencyOne services; Maintain up to date knowledge of all Efficiency programs as well as interpret and explain them to the public; Become a source of information and a potential point of contact for our customers within your community; Be responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
