Opportunity Description
Halifax Design Week is a free, citywide design festival happening across Halifax from November 13 to 15, 2026. Saturday is our biggest day, with panels on Sustainability, Accessibility and Inclusion, hands-on workshops and exhibitions. We need 15 volunteers for the morning shift.
Shift: Saturday, November 14, 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
No experience needed. You'll be placed where help is needed most, which may include:
- Setting up rooms before doors open
- Welcoming visitors and helping them find their next activity, seats and accessible routes
- Supporting the morning panels and exhibitions
- Serving refreshments
You'll be on your feet, working with a friendly team. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Want to help all day? Apply for our Saturday afternoon shift (1:00 to 6:00 PM) as well.
