Opportunity Description
Halifax Design Week is a free, citywide design festival happening across Halifax from November 13 to 15, 2026. This is our first year, and we need 10 volunteers to help us get everything ready before opening night.
Shift: Friday, November 13, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (setup, before the event opens).
No experience needed. You'll be placed where help is needed most, which may include:
- Setting up tables, chairs and exhibition displays
- Helping exhibitors move materials and prepare their spaces
- Putting up posters and directional signs
- Testing lights, sound and projectors with venue staff
- Preparing the tea, coffee and pastry station
You'll be on your feet, working with a friendly team. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
