With financial support from all levels of the community, the QEII Foundation helps fund new technologies, medical research, innovation and professional education that contribute to life-changing moments experienced every day by patients and their loved ones at the QEII. Inspired by the patient stories and the passion shown by the QEII's health care teams, the QEII Foundation staff and Board of Trustees continue to achieve 100% participation in giving. The Lung Association of Nova Scotia is a charitable health organization dedicated to improving quality of life by preventing and managing lung disease through research, advocacy, patient services and education.
From our main office in Halifax, we serve all Nova Scotians with lung disease through help from generous donors like you. Excalibur ADHD Association offers programs to people with ADHD in Nova Scotia. We have several support groups, some accessible through Skype. We offer Parent Menagement Training, Saturday and Summer Camps for children 6-12 years old, and our Working Memory Program. Members of our Association have access to our book and on-line libraries. Ride for Cancer powered by BMO Bank of Montreal is the largest cycling fundraising event in Atlantic Canada. Participants, inclusive to veteran cyclists, recreational and rookie riders, ride their choice of distance options via the Rum Runners Trail or by the road.
