The Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia (BIANS) is currently seeking 3–4 new volunteer members to join our Board of Directors.BIANS is a registered charitable organization that has supported individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury (ABI) since 1989. We work across Nova Scotia to strengthen connection, support, and understanding for people living with brain injury and their caregivers, while helping communities and systems respond more effectively.We are looking for individuals who are interested in community impact, governance, and supporting people and families affected by brain injury. Halifax Cycling Coalition is looking for volunteers to help tell our story, translating our advocacy work and organizational activities into content people can actually understand and engage with. This spans social media, newsletter content, and general promotion of our events and campaigns, as well as media relations across print, radio, and TV. A great fit for anyone who enjoys writing, storytelling, or community engagement and wants to help grow HCC's reach and public understanding across Halifax.

Halifax Cycling Coalition is looking for volunteers to support our events throughout the year, including I Light HFX, bike rides, and workshops. Roles vary by event and can include setup, marshalling, tabling, and general day-of support.
