YRES is a Charitable Not-for-Profit Organization that uses the help of community partners in order to carry out a variety of ever-expanding Educational Services.
Your Way to Wellness is a free 6 week workshop to help people with chronic health conditions overcome daily challenges, take action and live a healthy life! Groups meet weekly (2½ hours) and are led by trained volunteers. The program is delivered in communities across the province.
YCI is an organization where diversity and talent come together to shape a better future for youth around the world. Our solutions are focused – always keeping the young people we are designing for and with at the centre of the conversation. Our organization is a United Nations award-winning charity and our mission is to turn young people from 'educated' to 'educator.'
We take the talents of young people and turn them into one-on-one tutors for other adults and seniors in their communities. For example, imagine a 15 year old teaching a 50 year old how to use Zoom to communicate with their family in another country, or a 16 year old teaching an adult who is new to Canada some basic English skills.
