Moving Minds is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people live well. It is the organizer of the annual Mind Ball in Halifax.
We are a family resource Centre that provides parenting programs, community relations help, children and youth programming, early childhood education, advocacy, support, and navigation resources.

reflect a high level of cultural competency.
- Promote tools and resources that people and organizations can use to identify and respnd to emerging
multicultural issues.
The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease. We have a membership of 17,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services.
Hello! We voluntarily manage the beautiful Musquodoboit Trailways in Musquodoboit Harbour, and we enjoy seeing the happy puppies on the trail. Unfortunately, not everyone picks up their doggy-doo bags. Are there any keen volunteers out there who enjoy walking their pooch, and picking up a few extra bags full of doggy-doo?
The Santa Paws Fundraiser is an annual fundraiser of the NS SPCA organized and implemented by volunteers of the NS SPCA.
The NS SPCA is a not for profit organization that rescues  animals from dangerous and deplorable conditions across the province and provide them second chances; provides a safe haven for animals with nowhere else to go before finding their forever homes: food, bed, exercise, love, affection; Vets every animal that comes through the door including: spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping and overall health check; and works one-on-one with every animal to rebuild their trust in humans and ensure they are well prepared for the next stage of their life.

Nature Conservancy of Canada is a registered charity and the province's longest serving private land conservation organization. NCC works closely with people and communities to protect our special and unique areas and rich nature heritage for wildlife, animals and nature lovers.Since 1971, NCC has been involved in 110 projects in all corners of Nova Scotia. With 42 different protected areas, NCC has successfully conserved 32,200 acres of forests, wetlands and coastal shorelines in Nova Scotia through donations and land purchases.
The Nature Conservancy of Canada is a nation-wide conservation charity organization. Our mission is to protect important natural areas across Canada for the betterment of our natural world and for the enjoyment of all Canadians.
While the Nature Conservancy of Canada is a national organization, we have a small, passionate team here in Atlantic Canada. We work hard to protect our beautiful and important natural areas, and strive to inspire conservation ethics and lifestyle in all Atlantic Canadians.
The Navy League Cadet Corps are managed and supervised by adult volunteers who are enrolled as Navy League Officers or Navy League Instructors. Officers are granted warrants by the League, wear naval pattern uniforms and use naval ranks followed by a Navy League (NL) designator. Navy League Officers are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
All Navy League volunteers are provided opportunities for development of skills that will undoubtedly benefit you in your career as well. These include home study and weekend training in leadership and instructional techniques.

ABOUT
No Time for That is a registered Canadian charity founded by singer, songwriter, and motivational speaker Elsie Morden. During her senior year of high school in 2012, Elsie started sharing her story and songs with the “No Time for That” Tour and has now put on over 600 presentations free of charge across Canada. Elsie Morden and No Time for That hope to share their messages of empathy and empowerment with as many people as possible.

To advance education about bullying prevention, mental health awareness, and youth empowerment by delivering seminars, workshops and presentations with personal stories and music to children, youth, educators, and the public.

A future where Canadians have no time for bullying, no time for stigma, and no time for the negative.
