BullyingCanada Founded in 2006 we are Canada's premier anti-bullying national organization. Our team of more than 350 highly trained volunteers respond 7 days a week, 24 hours by phone or text. BullyingCanada supplies support and intervention to prevent and stop bullying. We give bullied kids a brighter future.

The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge (C3) is a national online competition aimed to encourage students in grades six through twelve to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems involving science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Halifax-Dartmouth Branch works at the community level and facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health, community integration and resilience. CMHA Halifax-Dartmouth supports the recovery of people living with mental illness through our social support programs and initiatives.
The Canadian Paraplegic Association (Nova Scotia) is a charitable organization providing client directed counselling and rehabilitation services, information, advocacy and support services to persons with spinal cord injuries and other mobility disabilities---and their families---throughout Nova Scotia. CPA(NS) has been providing these services and supports for over 64 years. Our mission is to assist persons with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities to achieve independence, self reliance and full community participation. We work closely with the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre in our reach to support those in need as they return to their home and their communities...your communities.

We are a non profit organization whose main goal is to sponsor refugees to come to Nova Scotia and support refugees their settlement in the Halifax Regional Municipality. The organization run by volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to work in various positions such as: project management, program coordinator, administration work (virtual), settlement support persons, social marketing/computer science person (being a main contact person with our website developer and maintaining our FB page and creating and maintaining Twit & other social media accounts). All the work will be done virtually.
CeaseFire Halifax is a non-profit organization based in the Halifax Regional Municipality which focuses on eliminating violent behaviour among youth in African Nova Scotian communities. Our mission is to inspire change and encourage the use of non violent solutions.
Channel of Peace is a Christ- centered counselling service which offers hope and healing in harmony with your faith by providing professional therapy and education to assist you to overcome life's challenges. Some of our areas of expertise include: couples counselling, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, older adult transitions, parent support, adoptive families, behaviour management and play therapy.
Chebucto Family Centre provides free support to families and community members through the delivery of capacity building programs and services.
Chebucto Links is a community outreach association that offers support (programs, information and resources) to enable older persons to remain independent and safe in their community of choice.
