Halifax Meals on Wheels has been delivering fresh, nutritious meals for almost half a century. Dedicated volunteers deliver meals to those in Halifax who are unable to prepare a meal for themselves. Volunteer teams consisting of a helper and a driver deliver fresh chilled meals and warm hearts while providing peace of mind for our clients and their families.

We rely on volunteers to help get food onto the tables of those in Halifax who are unable to prepare nutritious meals for themselves.Do you have 2-3 hours per week to help us in our mission? We are looking for drivers and runners on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday mornings for deliveries. Choose a weekly route, or substitute on an on call basis.You can even try us on by accompanying an experienced team on a run before you start.
