Heart and Stroke Foundation Canada

Heat and Stroke is an organization that has focused on fighting heart disease and stroke for over 60 years. Our mission includes

<li>Prevention- Through policy change to reduce sugar intake in youth and to promote physical activity while reducing sedentary behaviour.</li>
<li>Saving Lives- By teaching CPR and and advocating and supplying funding for more AED's in public areas</li>
<li>Promote Recovery- By providing various rehabilitation tools to survivors</li>
</ul>
The Heart and Stroke Foundation also recognizes that Women's and Indigenous heart health are under researched and we are part of the paradigm change to promote research in theses populations.
