We rely on volunteers to help get food onto the tables of those in Halifax who are unable to prepare nutritious meals for themselves.
Do you have 2-3 hours per week to help us in our mission? We are looking for drivers and runners on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday mornings for deliveries. Choose a weekly route, or substitute on an on call basis.
You can even try us on by accompanying an experienced team on a run before you start.

Halifax Meals on Wheels has been delivering fresh, nutritious meals for almost half a century. Dedicated volunteers deliver meals to those in Halifax who are unable to prepare a meal for themselves. Volunteer teams consisting of a helper and a driver deliver fresh chilled meals and warm hearts while providing peace of mind for our clients and their families.
