Space already at a premium at Halifax's homeless shelters

Halifax's major homeless shelters are near capacity even before the official start of winter and many are in need of more food donations and volunteers to help weather the chilly weather. At the Out of the Cold shelter, organizer Jeff Karabanow said more people are coming through the doors this December than at the same time last year.
