Opportunity Description:

As a Volunteer Trail Warden you are also considered a Trail Ambassador providing information to trail users about Cole Harbour Parks & Trail and more! Trail Wardens monitor trail user activity and trail conditions to ensure all trail users have a safe and enjoyable outdoor recreation experience; protect the environment from user impact; respect landowner rights and interests; assist in the control of risk; and help to ensure compliance with the law. Trail Wardens will need a reasonable level of fitness and be comfortable to speak with visitors on a routine basis. A short (maximum one day) and informative training session run by the Nova Scotia Trail Federation is required to qualify for this position.
