Halifax Busker Festival (Halifax Busker Festival)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55
• Training or orientation required

The Halifax Busker Festival is entering into it’s 33rd summer on the Halifax waterfront. This year’s festival runs from July 31st to August 5th. We have exciting performances lined up and plenty of volunteer opportunities! Shifts are four hours long and we have four volunteer positions available: Stage Manager – remain at designated stage and act as liaison between performers and event staff. Information Booth – provide guests with general information regarding the festival. Runner – provide support to volunteer coordinator and other positions. Barricades – be the contact volunteer at our vendor and headquarter barricade locations to ensure only authorized vehicles are entering the festival site. Volunteers must be at least 17 years old as of July 30th, 2019. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lanyard, invitation to the volunteer after-party, a volunteer certificate if committing to more than one shift, and recommendations upon request.
