Easter Seals Nova Scotia (Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s Bunnyland fundraiser helpers)

Bunnyland is one of Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s signature spring fundraising events where we have an area set up for families to visit the Easter Bunny at Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth and take photos. This event runs from Wednesday, March 20th – Saturday, March 30th (closed on Good Friday), from 11am – 6pm daily. Entry to Bunnyland is by a minimum donation of $5, all proceeds support our programs and services for individuals with disabilities in the province. The volunteer positions include: greeters, assisting with photography, registration, Bunny helpers (assisting the children in getting settled and making them laugh and smile), and someone to be the Easter Bunny (suit provided). Volunteers generally swap duties throughout the shift and take turns being the Easter Bunny. There are two shifts per day and each shift will be approx. 4 hours long. A staff member from Easter Seals Nova Scotia will be onsite at all times and will handle the money from donations and instructing volunteers. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with children, have a positive attitude and interest in supporting inclusivity in our communities.
