Options Work Activity Program

<a href="#_ftnref1" name="_ftn1"></a>Established in 1986, Options offers a unique opportunity to learn the basic skills required to find and maintain a structured, yet supportive environment. The integrated training program treats participants as employees and includes educational upgrading, life skills development, and workforce development skills in five employment areas: Building Maintenance, Customer Service, Food Service, Basic and Advanced Office Skills, and Bakery Production.

Options is opened to individuals 16 years of age and older who are facing persistent multiple barriers to employment.  Research shows that industry-based employment models that combine training and skills development benefit the workforce and the employer.
