About Us
The IWK Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to support IWK Health—the largest pediatric hospital and trauma centre in Atlantic Canada. IWK Health is also one of only two health centres in Canada that cares for both women and children. As the primary fundraising partner with IWK Health, we want to ensure Maritime women, children, and families needing the advanced and specialized care of IWK Health have access to the highest level of care possible.

The IWK Foundation is looking for volunteers to supportthe Rubber Duck Car Wash IWK Day on Saturday, July 11.We're hoping to have volunteer support at the following location:14 Eisener Boulevard, DartmouthWe're looking for minimal 4-5 volunteers (more the merrier) from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m, no age restriction.Volunteers would help bring energy to the day by welcoming customers, sharing that 50% of car wash proceeds will support the IWK, and helping create a fun atmosphere. Rubber Duck will have giveaways for customers, and the IWK Foundation is also hoping to provide a few small handouts like stickers or High Five card
