Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia

The objectives of the Association are to promote the study of our Nova Scotian genealogical heritage for our members and the general public by:

- providing educational opportunities
- collecting and preserving genealogical material
- encouraging the study of Nova Scotia genealogy and family history
- furthering ethical practices and promoting scientific and effective techniques of genealogical research
- publishing and distributing genealogical materials
- acquiring real and personal property as may be necessary or desirable to meet these objectives.
