More than 100 musicians take the stage as Symphony Nova Scotia joins forces with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra! Together, the two orchestras anticipate our end-of-season Russian Festival with our first-ever performance of Rachmaninoff’s final creation – the rhythmic, fantastical Symphonic Dances. This virtuoso showpiece is accompanied by Franck’s cataclysmic Le chasseur maudit (“The Accursed Hunter”) in another exciting first for Symphony Nova Scotia’s audiences.
