Opportunity Description:

Looking for volunteers 50yrs+ for research on a vaccine for C. difficile, a serious healthcare associated infection from a bacterium. Have you been hospitalized 2 or more times in the past year and taken antibiotics? Do you have an upcoming surgery requiring a hospital stay for several days? If so, you could contribute to essential research to control this serious disease. You will be reimbursed for 4 to 11 visits at the IWK Health Centre, plus parking.
