Across the country, the Gutsy Walk is made possible due to the time and talents shared by thousands of volunteers in their communities. As a Gutsy Walk Committee Member, you’ll be working closely with a team of other volunteers to plan and promote your local virtual Gutsy Walk. Your efforts in connecting and engaging your community at a virtual level—whatever your volunteer role with Gutsy Walk—will make a big impact in raising awareness about IBD and finding cures. We’re looking for volunteers for our walk in Halifax Regional Municipality, taking place in Shubie Park on Sunday, June 4, 2023. What we offer: – A community of support, a dedicated staff partner, team of peers and role-specific training – An opportunity to use and grow professional skills, expand your network – A hands-on chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis in your community
