Scotiabank Centre is located on Brunswick Street in the heart of downtown Halifax, just below the old Town Clock and Halifax Citadel National Historic Site.
The facility opened in 1978 as Halifax Metro Centre and in September 2014 transitioned to Scotiabank Centre.
With a seating capacity in excess of 10,000, Scotiabank Centre is fully accessible to persons with disabilities, fully air-conditioned and includes 13 executive suites, 35 skyboxes and the Scotiabank Centre premium seating lounge.
Scotiabank Centre is the largest multipurpose facility in Atlantic Canada and the hub for major events in Nova Scotia, serving as the region’s premier venue for concerts, sports and special events. The facility is home to the Halifax Mooseheads, the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo and the Halifax Rainmen.
