Virtuoso flutist Patricia Creighton is joined by pianist Peter Allen and oboist Brian James in a recital for winds and piano. This diverse program will feature works by Schumann (Fantasy Pieces) and this year’s Scotia Festival composer-in-residence, Peteris Vasks (Landscape with Birds), with the wonderful Muczynski Sonata for Flute and Piano.
