Howard Cable has conducted Symphony Nova Scotia for thirty years – and it’s been thirty years of sold-out concerts, standing ovations, and timeless, evocative music. Now, this 95-year-old living legend joins forces with virtuoso Symphony clarinetist Dominic Desautels and ECMA-winning saxophonist Chris Mitchell for a truly authentic concert featuring some of the biggest, brassiest, and best big band hits ever written. Hear music from masters like Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and many more in this toe-tapping, soul-swinging, feel-good concert. TWO PERFORMANCES: November 6, 2015, 7:30 pm, and November 8, 2015, 2:00 pm.
