Following the success of our 2014 Valentine’s event, Swingology is pleased to announce La Vie En Rose 2015, a romantic Paris-inspired swing dance taking place on on Saturday February 14 in the Imperial Ballroom of Halifax’s elegant Lord Nelson Hotel. The dancing starts at 8:00 PM, with a free swing dance lesson for beginners at 7:00. Joining our own charismatic swing diva Cynthia Myers on stage will be our very special guest from Montreal: the incomparable Steve Normandin will infuse the evening with the romance of pre-war Paris with his masterful accordion chops, romantic French singing, and charming je ne sais quoi. In addition, we plan some special extra added atractions to make this romantic evening even more special.
This is not just for couples – singles should feel welcome, as should couples of all persuasions!
