Volunteer Opportunities in Nova Scotia

If you’re looking to volunteer in Nova Scotia, then you’re in luck. There are tons and tons of great resources at your fingertips. We here at Volunteer Halifax wanted to highlight some of the other great work happening across the province.

• City of Halifax
• Halifax Helps – this initiative wants to help you do more good. Encourages community engagement. Check it out!
• goodNS – At the time of writing (February 2, 2017), the site was under construction. When it was operational, it offered a great way to find volunteer opportunities across the whole province.
• 211 Nova Scotia – this is basically a one-stop shop for finding any and all available community services.

Let’s not forget about Volunteer Halifax… we’re focused on the Halifax Regional Municipality, but certainly supportive of helping address volunteer needs across the province. If you have volunteer opportunities, and you’re outside the HRM, please feel free to post away!
