Who is the Argyle Entertainment District Association?
The Argyle Entertainment District Association (AEDA) is a group of business owners and operators who know that the downtown core of Halifax is a great place to visit, work, live, and play — and are looking to make it even better.

The AEDA is a registered not-for-profit organization, run by an elected executive board, that focuses on the positive aspects of downtown Halifax and looks to share its perspective and energy through planned events and fun promotional activities.

Our Mission
To help like-minded businesses work together to develop strategies that help enhance the Argyle Entertainment District experience for both locals and tourists, and increase commerce in the district through advertising, combined marketing efforts, and event management.

Our Vision
To have a vibrant, energetic downtown core that fosters growth in business, tourism, and the city of Halifax.
