Opportunity Description:

The Dartmouth Learning Network Society seeks dynamic individuals for positions on the Board of Directors, Board Committees and for special events. The Board of Directors consists of 9 directors, and meets approximately ten (10) times a year. Board members are also sometimes asked to sit on board and ad hoc committees. These might include: Finance, Human Resources, Fundraising, Public Relations/Marketing and/or Policy Development. This volunteer position requires board members to manage the affairs of the Dartmouth Learning Network Society, adopt new by-laws or make amendments to existing by-laws, appoint committees to carry out the objectives of the Dartmouth Learning Network Society, receive, consider and act upon the reports of all committees, report its activities and financial position at the Annual General Meeting.
