GREAT THINGS IN STORE THRIFT STORE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Gain valuable experience helping out in one of Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank’s thrift stores. Our stores, called Great Things in Store, are located on Almon Street in Halifax and Woodlawn Road in Dartmouth. Great opportunity to add to your resume or if you just want to give back to your community by volunteering. Items include clothing, antiques, small household appliances and furniture. Our objective is to offer a wide range of products in the moderate price range – good quality at prices people can afford. Please visit both locations where you will find great buys and friendly service.
