Social Media Outreach is responsible for responding to comments and DMs on social media to maintain professional and timely communication with members and potential members across all social media platforms.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   You report to the Marketing Officer. You attend regular meetings and planning sessions to brainstorm content and campaign ideas. You create, analyze, and strategize content to engage and increase Latispánica’s membership. You coordinate contests and activities to engage Latispánica’s community on social media. You coordinate outreach and engagement initiatives including assisting with contacting other organizations to promote events and reaching out to other related groups and social media accounts. You engage and respond to our audiences while upholding our policy guide. You promote motivation within your Team.     QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS A six-month commitment with possibility of renewal in the role is required. Hours of volunteer work averages 8 hours a week. Bilingual- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Discretion- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging for people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Previous outreach and community engagement experience is considered an asset. Demonstrated skill in community engagement and ability to build healthy relationships with members.
