Shakespeare by the Sea (SBTS) is a not-for-profit outdoor theatre company that has been entertaining Haligonians and tourists alike for 20 seasons, presenting over 70 shows to 200,000-plus people. This summer, for our 21st season, we will be performing three superb shows: Cinderelly, The Taming of The Shrew and The Merchant of Venice. Currently we are seeking volunteers for the 2014 summer season! If you are someone who enjoys theatre, meeting people, and working outdoors this is the perfect opportunity for you! Knowledge of Shakespeare is not a prerequisite. Responsibilities may can include, but are not limited to the following: Welcoming patrons Distributing programs Assisting in the seating of patrons Ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience! Hours are based around show times which are in the evenings with matinees on the weekends and no shows on Mondays. Any amount of commitment is welcomed. Dates of volunteering are variable and based on the availability of the volunteer.
