Opportunity Description:

Halifax Meals on Wheels invites volunteers to join us delivering meals to the homes of clients.  Our volunteers don’t just deliver meals. They also deliver a smile and a personal connection to our clients. You do not have to own a car, or even know how to drive, in order to volunteer.  A team of two volunteers, a runner and a driver, make the deliveries, typically from 10:00-12:30pm, Monday to Thursday. How much time you can spare for this valuable work is up to you. Even two hours a week or every few weeks can make a huge difference in the lives of our clients.
