Cole Harbour Parks and Trails Association (Chair of the CHPTA Maintenance operations)

As a Volunteer Maintenance Chair, you are responsible for the upkeep of all our trails (currently over 26 km) and the Cole Harbour Heritage Park. You will be a Director on the CHPTA Board of Directors. Duties Include: Preparing and submitting maintenance related reports to the CHPTA Board and all three levels of governments. Planning, organizing and supervision of maintenance activities. Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with Board Members, volunteers, Government officials, and Contractors. Produce cost estimates, purchasing orders and grant requests for maintenance activities. Ensure safe work practices are followed by volunteers and contractors. Participate in monthly board meetings, and fulfills any other duties as the need arises.
