Opportunity Description:

Responsibilities: Act as an ambassador for Heart and Stroke by sharing health information and thanking donors Visit about 25-50 homes in your neighbourhood to ask for and collect donations and/or Become a virtual online canvasser and ask friends, family and social media contacts for donations Read and use the materials in your Canvasser Kit Return your Canvasser Kit and donations in early July                                              Benefits of Volunteering: Opportunity to develop your interpersonal and fundraising skills Be a community champion and share the Heart and Stroke story Help neighbours, friends and family to learn their risk of heart disease or stroke Receive information and support for your role from knowledgeable Heart and Stroke staff fundraisers Volunteer from your home and on a flexible schedule as an online canvasser   Meet and connect with your neighbours Skills/Attributes: Willing to ask for donations, with support and training from Heart and Stroke Enjoy interacting with people
