Opportunity Description:

Help us create a lasting memory on June 7, 2025, at Dartmouth’s Shubie Park! We’re back, Halifax! Give a Breath 5k is Canada’s premier fundraising event dedicated to raising critical funds and awareness for the lung cancer community. Inaugurated in Edmonton in 2019, the event has grown into a nationwide event. Halifax held its first GAB event in 2024, and we are so excited to build on last year’s success and make 2025 bigger and better. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us with promotion and day-of duties. The event starts at 10am and is completed by 1pm. We are looking for individuals to help us for set up, event execution, and tear down. set up shifts would start at 8am and tear down is anticipated to be completed by 2pm. Duties include refreshment set up and tear down, table and tent set up and tear down, registration, wayfinding, and general participant cheerleading, and other duties as needed.
