Opportunity Description:

The Leadership Volunteer: Fund Development will assist with the creation and implementation of a fund development plan that will help create long-term, sustainable funding for The Marguerite Centre. This role will be responsible for leading a team of passionate volunteers, coordinating fund raising activities and being responsible to the Board of Directors for maintaining the mission, vision and values of The Marguerite Centre. The Leadership Volunteer: Fund Development will: In general: Become an advocate for The Marguerite Centre in philanthropic settings Become well informed in The Marguerite Centre programs and services Specifically: Work closely with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director to create an achievable and measureable fund development strategy Manage the Development Team volunteers and work closely with them to execute the fund development strategy on a regular and consistent basis Chair regularly scheduled meetings and be able to report back to the Board of Directors Establish a system of metrics to track progress and growth Identify and recommend new opportunities for further fund development growth
