Opportunity Description:

Out of the Cold is a community-based organization which works to provide shelter and community supports to people who are homeless or precariously housed in the HRM.  OTC is currently recruiting frontline volunteers and meal donations for the 2017/18 season.  Email volunteerotcs@gmail.com for an application or for more information. For a volunteer application or to learn more, contact Rachael at volunteerotcs@gmail.com.  Prospective volunteers are also encouraged to attend an information session, held at St. Matthew’s United Church (1479 Barrington St).  The information session is on Saturday, November 4th, from 10:30-11:30 am.  Shelter entrance is down the stairs on the north side of the church, on the same side as Niche Lounge and the Maritime Centre.
