Opportunity Description:

Out of the Cold works to provide shelter and a community drop-in space for people who are homeless or precariously housed in the HRM. We are currently recruiting for frontline volunteers with overnight availability.  Frontline volunteers work directly with our guests, and overnight shifts provide an opportunity for one-on-one interactions with folks in a quieter environment.  Overnight volunteers are accompanied by one staff member on every shift.  Volunteers are an integral part of staffing the shelter, and create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
