The Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia is looking for 2-3 volunteers to lead Epilepsy+, a social program for adults living with epilepsy and multiple additional challenges. Who: 2 – 3 volunteers What: Lead activities (crafts, games, etc.), organize outings, and provide social support When: From 1 – 4 pm on the last Friday of every month (starting January 2015) Where: The EANS office (5880 Spring Garden Rd.) In addition to seizures, our participants experience a variety of health, mobility, and cognitive issues. Volunteers must be respectful, compassionate, and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. Seizure 1st Aid and other relevant training will be provided free of charge.
