Opportunity Description:

Volunteer Tutors are matched one-on-one with a newcomer to teach English during home visits and/or in the community. You create lesson plans based on the objectives of the learners. Tutors offer support in EAL literacy, listening comprehension, speaking, reading, writing and pronunciation skills. We offer professional tutor training orientation, opportunities and workshops, and provide ongoing support. Weekly for 3 months (maximum one year)
