The Start2Finish Running & Reading Club is a fun after-school program that encourages literacy, healthy active living, and play. The program runs one afternoon a week for 2.5 hours. Volunteers support students in various fitness and reading activities. As a result, students stay in school, build self-confidence and develop positive friendships with mentors and peers. With mentor Coaches, students discover the possibilities of a brighter future. Information to highlight: – Children in the Running & Reading Club are 6 -13 years old; from grades 1-6 – You do not have to be a runner to volunteer, there is something for everyone!
