Details of the event… Monday April 22, 4 pm to 8 pm. Earth Day! 650 Sackville Drive, Acadia Park Truckload Rain Barrel Fundraiser for Sackville Community Food Garden and Social Marketplace Society. Rain barrels with accessories and tax are $55 each at www.RainBarrel.ca/SocialMarket. At the event volunteers are… -helping gardeners clean out the beds -helping people who are picking up their pre-ordered rain barrel OR people who are buying one at the event -helping people get their barrel to their car (a rain barrel will fit in the back seat of most cars) -helping at the canteen -helping at the Social Market table distribute bubble wand and bubbles to children, distribute the Social Market News, sell raffle tickets. No one works alone. Relaxed atmosphere.
