Meals on Wheels Sackville Bedford (Program Volunteer- Driver)

Program volunteers are the people who participate in the day-to-day operation of the program.  They work with staff to prepare meals, deliver meals, build relationships with recipients, put up flyers, participate in training and have a commitment to represent the program well.   Our meals are currently delivered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and the route is between 4-8 stops.  Most of our drivers go solo on their routes, but some of them enjoy bringing along company.  Our drivers track their mileage and at the end of the year, mileage is submitted for a tax receipt.
