Join Diabetes Canada in promoting healthy lifestyle choices and spreading awareness about diabetes at the Fall Wellness Expo in Halifax! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to work with us in our interactive booth. There are three exciting roles to choose from, see below for more information: Where: Cunard Centre, 961 Marginal Rd, Halifax, NS B3H 4P7 When: Saturday, September 16th and/or Sunday, September 17th Shifts:  10am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5:00pm Available Roles: RETHINK YOUR DRINK: Fill sample cups with water. Provide a sample of water (fruit infused) as part of our healthy hydration campaign. Encourage participants to drink water as part of a healthy diet. SPIN N’ WIN WHEEL: Encourage participants to spin the wheel and answer a question (provided on cards). Provide the correct answer and allow the participant to enter their name into the prize draw. Provide a small prize if stock is available. RESOURCE CENTER: Provide relevant resources to participants.
