Church of Saint Mary Magdalene (Crafts and Conversation)

We have volunteer opportunities for creative individuals who would enjoy assisting, sharing skills and/or facilitating an arts and crafts group for seniors 55+ in a warm, supportive and caring environment in the Shared Program Room at 16 Sussex Street, Halifax (Spryfield). Time commitment: Tuesdays 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm once a week or Thursdays 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Minimum commitment once a month. Craft supplies will be provided thanks to a micro grant by Community Links Association and the NS Department of Seniors and Long-term Care.
