Opportunity Description:

Community Connections volunteers are matched with an individual or family new to Nova Scotia to assist in the settlement process. You can also volunteer with your family and be matched with a newcomer family, or be matched in our 55+ program. Through weekly visits, volunteers offer companionship and support, provide information about cultural norms, and participate in social and recreational activities and community events. 2 hours a week for 6 months (maximum one year)
