Opportunity Description:

Front Desk Assistant Duties: Providing information to clients on VLR and CNIB Foundation services Greeting clients and guests; advise staff when clients arrive for appointments Guiding clients and guests to washrooms/offices • Answering inquiries regarding specific services Returning calls that required researching answers Contacting clients to pick up items Calling taxis for clients Hand sanitizing and wiping down surfaces as needed. Other administrative duties as required Smart Life Assistant Duties: Demoing and educating on products Processing sales Maintaining the shop (setting demo watches, clocks, etc.) and cleaning surfaces and demo items Commitment Minimum 4-month commitment (assuming the office doesn’t close again due to COVID-related imposed restrictions) Minimum one weekly shift from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. OR 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Work Environment Working at a reception desk Some time sitting and keeping yourself occupied, while you wait for people to arrive/leave Regular interruptions as staff or members arrive and leave. Training will include reading a handbook as well as on-going in-person training as required
