Opportunity Description:

We currently have a need for additional Breakaway volunteers for our Friday Adult Day Program in Shearwater (Military Family Resource Centre – 12 Wing Shearwater) The commitment is weekly; Fridays from 9:15- 12:30. Our program is designed for seniors facing social-isolation or those living with memory or functional difficulties, whose caregivers need a break. As a volunteer you would be assisting the coordinator with client activities(games, music, crafts etc), snack preparation, room set up and tear down, provide one to one socialization with clients & general program participation.
